Question about abstinence? (I'm a female)?

I'm turning 18 this fall and heading off to college. I have never had any type of intercourse because I am abstinent (for personal, rather than religious reasons). I was just thinking about something my friend said: "Are you waiting until marriage?." For some reason, I feel very conflicted about that. On one hand, I would like to wait until I am married to someone I trust and love completely, but on the other hand I don't want to miss out on experiencing that before I commit wholly to someone . Anyone have an opinion about this? or a personal experience they would be willing to share? Thank you so much.
