I recently got an industrial piercing and now it's painfully swelling?

It's completely normal, theres a huge hunk of metal in your ear, of course it's irritated, and of course it's going to swell! don't worry! whatever you do, DONT take the piercings out, that will make absolutely sure that your ear will get infected. think about it, it's all raw in there, if there's an open hole, air will pass through it carrying germs.
