Android "ROOTing" help. Motorola Backflip?

hello, i have already successfully rooted my backflip, and i went to flash a ROM to it and discovered a problem. my volume down key won't work, therefore i can't flash anything. i just spent all this time rooting it, and it isnt working. so i went to google, they said try "Quick Boot" but when i press "reboot into recovery" it just reboots. i need to reboot into recovery without using the down key, any ideas? PLEASE HELP. thanks
