My disk drive stopped working please help me?

Download and reinstall the drivers for the CD drive. When you get it back in My Computer, right click on it and choose Properties, then the Auto Play tab, where it says 'Select a content type, go down to Music CD, under Actions, Select an action to preform:, choose the program that you want to play the CD through, RealPlayer or itunes or whatever and press Ok. I would guess that it is set to Take No Action, the last choice. Hope that does it, good luck.
