What is color conditioning?

I used to apply henna a lot. Then one of the hair stylist at a big hair salon advised me to go for color conditioning. He said it will remove henna and make your hair look of one color. I got it done. My hair look brilliant. But I don't know what product was that. That parlour is very far from my place. Does any one have an idea of color conditioning?
