How long should I wait before going back to a piercer?

I went to a tattoo parlor a couple days ago to have my 2nd hole on my ear re pierced in a different spot. (I'm learning my lesson the hard way that piercing guns were a big NO) Now that I have the 2nd one re pierced the arc I have going on my ear (three studs) is messed up still and I want to get the 1st hole redone also. I've wanted to get it redone anyway because the hole was pierced a little high on both ears so it doesn't really bother me to have it redone. I went in the day after to ask about that and the Piercer said to wait until it heals some before coming back in. It's been a few days now and it's not bleeding and doesn't feel sore (although I know that doesn't mean it's healed) How long would 'heal some' be? A week, two? Any advise is appreciated =)
