How does the Bluray ROM playback compare in quality to standalone Bluray players or the PS3 Bluray?

For as little as you pay the ps3 is a good little system and 3d compatible ive a ps3 and a sony blueray home cinema bdve300 7.1 and you can hardly tell any diffrence i run s samsung 50 inch plasma 600hz 3d tv with my ps3 conected by a PURE AV hdmi cable (expensive) and i use it in both units and u carnt realy tell i also run a reciever by yamaha into all this and it makes all the diffrence
